- Field Studies Council – Among their publications is an excellent series of fold-out guides
- NHBS – Originally the Natural History Book service, they now also supply ecology and conservation equipment and publish magazines. The 'Wild Guide' series of books is particularly good.
- BBC Wildlife Magazine – Subscribe to their paper or digital editions or register to receive their newsletter.
